Janna let Kent marry her in 1996. She taught middle and high school math for 7 years, then became a full-time stay-at-home mom to their comical, friendly, world-leader-someday, daughter Bess, and sweet, strong, bam-bam, son, Isaiah. They, along with 8 other people, planted VCS in the summer of 2003. She’s been involved in various areas of Christian ministry since 1991, mostly youth & college, women, and worship. She currently tutors part-time, home schools her daughter, loves her neighbors and leads the worship team. Whew! Oh, she’s also a full-time wife to the pastor.
When she’s not insanely busy, she’s crazy about worshipping with her guitar, yard sales, good mystery novels, email (God's gift to introverts, she says), a nice vintage outfit, and a strong, tall cup of coffee! And last, but not least, she’s a big believer in prayer, real relationships, B12 and vitamin C.
