Jason was born in Hickory, NC. He is a pretty introverted, under-the-radar kind of guy and an avid list & label maker. Music in general is his biggest hobby but he’s secretly a big Lord of the Rings nerd too (well, I guess it's not a secret anymore). In May of 2000, he married his dream girl in NiCole. They now have a 5 year-old daughter (Taylor) and a 2 year-old son (Jake).

Here at VCS, Jason is our main Sunday morning worship leader, but there are others leading as well. Jason is in charge of all things musical, setting up and tearing down equipment, websites, and scheduling volunteers to help with the audio/visual aspects of Sunday mornings.
